Town and Country Days and the Wetzel Co. Fair in New Martinsville WV was a great time. From the moment we arrived on the lot we were made to feel like family and at home! A wonderful town on the Ohio River with beautiful buildings and a wonderful hometown feel. We had great crowds each and every show 11 total in the 5 days we were there. While there we had the opportunity to open for Bucky Covington on the main stage before his performance on Thursday evening. On Saturday at the 7 pm show the last show of the stand it got pretty exciting. During the balancing portion of the show which was next to last in this particular set. I (NOJOE) climb to the top of a 8 foot step ladder and get the crowd pumped up for more and bigger balancing. Then in classic American clowning style place my feet on the outside of the ladder and slide to the bottom. During this the ladder was placed just beside a small dip in the ground. When I slid down the ladder there was a loud pop and the left knee refused to work. I was assisted out of the ring and TooT finished the show. With the swelling and bruising the conclusion is so far multiple pulled muscles in the quad and calf, hopefully only sprains of the ligaments, a cracked tibia, and a broken bone in left foot. Other than that what a show! New Martinsville we were so honored to have been a part of your great event. Thank you for the invite for 2009 and we are very excited about seeing you again then!
