8-21-09 Still in KY

Today was a really nice day. We started off by sleeping in late again, then we met up with our host here who took us to her house and fed us all steaks and let us swim in her pool. The NOJOE is a little pink after today in the sun! Tyler enjoyed watching the Little League World Series on the big screen and we had a wonderful time sharing stories from the road and of family w/ our host Ms. Ellen Keaton. We got back to the lot in time to get into makeup and do a little walk around as we are doing a one show day at 9pm. It worked out great for this fair yesterday and we're hoping to do the same again for today. We threw a little extra at 'em last night and the show ran about 40 minutes. Tomorrow is Saturday and that means a multiple show day for us but, for the patrons it means Saturday at the fair. That magical time of year that only rolls around once a year. It's nice to remind ourselves that even though we get to go to the circus everyday most folks only get it once every few years. We had some wonderful comments last night after the show with people putting us in class w/ some of the American Greats in comedy and physical clowning. I am not exactly sure if they were after free T-shirts, or money but either way we appreciated their smoozing! Tonights show ran about 45 minutes and it was a standing room only crowd. By far our biggest one here yet. They were awesome and it is so nice to work with a fair board like the one here who wants to let us do what we want and ever how long or short we want. The line after tonights show for autographs and pictures was another 45 minutes and they didn't mind waiting. We're gonna sleep good tonight!.
