What a wonderful time we had at the Georgia - Carolina State Fair. We arrived on Sunday the 21st after a 5 hour drive from North Wilkesboro NC. We were set and open for an afternoon show at 2 on Sunday. We played to great crowds each performance. On Friday a weather front came through and closed the fair for the day. Along with it came winds up to 57mph that crushed some tents and caused some minor damage to some equipment. We were there with the James Strates Carnival co. The only carnival still to travel by rail in America. We were made to feel right at home by the wonderful staff of the fair and all the exchange club members. On Sunday the 27th we had the great opportunity to play for the president of the Southeast Clown Assocation Mr. Forest Garner. I would also like to say a great big THANK YOU to our freinds who drove all the way from Atlanta about 3 hours to see our shows. We are off preparing for the 2009 season until the 10th of November when we are back on the road to Waycross GA for the Okefenokee Fair.
