October 6-12-2008 Spartanburg SC

The Piedmont Interstate Fair in Spartanburg SC was a wonderful time. We enjoyed good weather most of the fair and great crowds each show. We had the wonderful opportunity to be with some of our freinds Nick and Kim Datillo from Nick's Kid's Show from Florida. We enjoyed spending time and catching up with stories from the summer's shows. We also had freinds Ron and Teresa Yarborough aka Boo Boo the Circus Clown who came up on Saturday for two afternoon shows. What an honor it is to have freinds come out of their way to see us when we are out on the road. Also, we had the extreme honor of Jim Howle and Earl Chaney coming to see our last performance of the day on Saturday. After the evening performance we had the pleasure of spending the evening over dinner with Jim and Earl. Also, had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Tommy Irving a former RBBB clown who was working an elephant at the fair. For the story from the road this stop. At the evening performance on Thursday during the rocket gag I was turned facing left track and Tyler came up to me to pass the rocket off and instead of passing it off I turned to see two huge clown shoes pointing straight up in the air and to see Tyler lying flat on the ground after his feet had slipped out from under him. After insuring he was alright we finished the gag and had a huge laugh afterwards. We have arrived in Wilkesboro NC and are set for shows here until Saturday night then off to Augusta GA.
